The bathroom at Solace Cottage was just what I needed after a long day of hiking. The shower was refreshing, and I loved the cozy and rustic feel of the room. It made me feel right at home as a backpacker.

The only thing I didn't love was the size of the bathroom. But hey, it's all about personal preference, right?

The cottage itself was super clean and had everything we needed for our week of adventures. The views were mind-blowing and we had a blast exploring the surrounding areas, like hiking up the hills and chilling by the beach. It was the perfect spot for a rad vacation with friends!

The only thing that could have made our stay even more awesome is if there was a cool party spot nearby. We would have loved to have a place to dance the night away and meet other young party-goers.

We had the most amazing stay at Solace Cottage! The location was fine, with amazing views of the bay and the surrounding islands. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and cozy, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack of goodies was a good touch and came in handy until we found our way around the local shops. We loved exploring Harris and Lewis from this convenient base, and the peacefulness of the area made for a restful night's sleep. The local shop just a minute away was a great convenience. we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking a tranquil getaway.

The cottage exceeded all our expectations! It was spotless and had everything we needed for our self-catering week. The view was absolutely stunning, and the surrounding areas were beautiful. Despite the weather not being the best, it didn't dampen our enjoyment. We found a great little pub just a short walk away where we could grab some pizza and watch football on TV. Another advantage was having private parking. We had an amazing time celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary and the basket of goodies provided was a lovely touch.

The only downside was that there was no freezer or freezer compartment in the fridge. This made storing frozen items a bit challenging.

I had an amazing stay at this cottage. The decor was tasteful and showcased local businesses. The rooms had different scents, which added a nice touch. The accommodation was comfortable, and I didn't want to leave. The outdoor space was perfect for enjoying sunsets and stargazing. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding areas, such as Uist, Lewis, and Harris. I loved watching the garden birds from the stone seat. The local shop, just a minute away, was excellent.

I always return to this cozy place for my stay, no regrets. The staff even did a wake-up call for me. It has everything I need: Internet, parking, TV, activities like hiking, fishing. No pets or smoking, perfect! I come back for romantic escapes.
